We have invented a proprietary fabrication process that creates pure 100% polyester with qualities like none other in the world. Qualities such as:

* lightweight

* extended ability to retain warmth

* fiber and shape memory

Here's how. . .

The softness of our fabrication is a physical characteristic, not a chemical characteristic (explained below). Our breakthrough milling process is achieved at a temperature of 200º Celsius (that's about 400º Fahrenheit!) which induces the fiber softness. Other so called similar fabrics on the market have their softness created by spraying silicon onto a lower-grade micro-fiber. The silicon coating is what you feel when you touch this temporarily softened cloth. But beware, once laundered the silicon will quickly wash away leaving such robes feeling coarse. Our fabric will forever stay as incredibly soft as the first time you touch it.

MinQ Robes also keep you far warmer then can any other robe of such light weight. Indeed, the temperature insulation is similar to heavyweight cotton terry. This is achieved by a combination of factors all made possible by our ability to run the process at such high temperature as noted above.

MinQ Robes are double-ply. Two overlapping layers of cloth are used. This is not the case with cheap imitations.

>Warning: before you purchase another robe, look to see if it indicates this feature. If not, you will soon find that the robe will neither hold its shape nor provide anywhere near the temperature insulation you need for comfort.

MinQ Robes will stay like new. Another advantage of the high milling temperature is the creation of a fabric that is as uniquely tough as it is soft. Thus it launders unusually well. A famous Spa in New York City completed a 500-times wash test on our robes before making a decision to purchase them for their clientele. The amazing result from their testing was a robe that was as good as new.  Note: wash durability will vary due to factors such as equipment, detergents, and water quality.

(Bonus: the spa also discovered that they saved time and money in their laundering of our robes as compared to heavy cotton terry.  Due to its lightweight they were able to launder more robes per load and the drying time was far less.)
